Einstein Lip Theory

Developed by Benjamin Einstein, one of the co-creators of the Hard Candy makeup line. Inspired by his mother’s eternal quest for the perfect lip balm, Einstein lived up to his name by creating cutting-edge, high-performance treatments, which use top-notch ingredients to tackle all aspects of lip care. In doing so, he made his mom’s “dream” lip product. The brand produces a wide range of facial and body treatments that are sold in an expected red and white package. St. Ives

Known for its wide variety of botanically-based skin and hair care products made according to a Swiss formula, St. Ives Laboratories was acquired in 1996 by the Alberto-Culver holding group. In addition to the “Swiss Formula” reference on the front label of the St. Ives Skin Firming Moisturizing Lotion, there is also a visual of a mortar and pestle incorporating the Swiss flag. The back label of the product explains to consumers that “only St. Ives combines a unique Firming Complex and Swiss botanicals in a moisture-rich lotion proven to help increase skin’s firmness in just eight weeks. Laboratoires La Prairie

For over 50 years, the Clinic La Prairie (based in Montreux, Switzerland) has made it its mission to advance the field of anti-aging cellular therapy. Today, products developed by the Laboratoires La Prairie (unaffiliated with the Clinic as of 1982), are available to consumers to help slow down the signs of aging skin.

La Prairie is without a doubt one of the more high-end cosmetic products on the market. Its portfolio includes a variety of luxurious sounding products such as the Caviar collection, the Silver Rain collection, Swiss Cellular De-Agers and Swiss Moisture Care. The word “Swiss” adds a great deal of caché and esteem to the words “Cellular De-Agers” and “Moisture Care” which by themselves would sound relatively unimpressive to a consumer.
